• Palm Fronds and Olive Branches: These are distributed in churches to commemorate Christ’s entry into Jerusalem, and processions often take place in Coptic neighbourhoods. 
   
• Sham El-Nessim: The day following Easter, April 13, 2026, is also celebrated as Sham El-Nessim, a national spring festival in Egypt, marking the arrival of spring and the renewal of life.
